Sausage Cream Cheese Casserole (Only 3 Ingredients)

Introduction

This Sausage Cream Cheese Casserole is the ultimate fuss-free comfort food. With a flaky crust, savory sausage, and creamy cheese filling, it’s warm, hearty, and ready with minimal prep. Ideal for breakfast, brunch, or even a cozy dinner.


Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook sausage until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add cream cheese: Stir cream cheese into the hot sausage until fully melted and combined.
  4. Layer the crust: Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing seams.
  5. Add filling: Spread the sausage and cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Top layer: Unroll the second can of dough and place it on top of the filling, sealing seams.
  7. Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
  8. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm.
