  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon-Sugar Mix:

For the Apple Layer:

  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix apple layer: In a small bowl, combine diced apples with sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. Make batter: Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and milk. Add flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
  4. Layer bread: Spread half of the batter into the loaf pan. Top with half of the apple mixture and half of the cinnamon-sugar mix. Repeat with remaining batter, apples, and cinnamon-sugar. Swirl gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
  5. Bake: Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  6. Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread before serving.
