For the Bread:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

For the Cinnamon-Sugar Mix:
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Glaze:

- 2–3 teaspoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix apple layer: In a small bowl, combine diced apples with sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Make batter: Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and milk. Add flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
- Layer bread: Spread half of the batter into the loaf pan. Top with half of the apple mixture and half of the cinnamon-sugar mix. Repeat with remaining batter, apples, and cinnamon-sugar. Swirl gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake: Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread before serving.
