🥗 Chicken Pasta Salad Recipe

A creamy, tangy, and hearty side that’s perfect for potlucks — but satisfying enough to be a complete lunch!


Ingredients:

  • Pasta (small shapes like shells, macaroni, or ditalini work best)
  • Shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded or cubed
  • Celery, chopped
  • Red onion, chopped
  • Mayonnaise
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Sugar

📝 Note: (you can adjust to taste):

  • 3 cups cooked pasta
  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/4 cup red onion
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, chopped celery, and red onion.
  3. Make dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth.
  4. Toss together: Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
