Bacon Jalapeño Popper Eggrolls

Introduction:
Bacon Jalapeño Popper Egg Rolls are the ultimate fusion snack—crispy on the outside with a creamy, cheesy, and spicy filling inside. Packed with smoky bacon, gooey cream cheese, and fresh jalapeños, they’re perfect for game day, parties, or anytime you need a bold, flavorful bite.


Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 2–3 fresh jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 10–12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional: ranch or chipotle mayo for dipping

Instructions:

  1. Make the Filling:
    In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, jalapeños, and garlic powder until well combined.
  2. Assemble Egg Rolls:
    Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface like a diamond. Spoon about 2 tbsp of filling into the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with beaten egg.
  3. Fry:
    Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 175°C (350°F). Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–4 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve:
    Enjoy hot with a side of ranch, sour cream, or your favorite spicy dipping sauce.
