👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1 – Prepare the Cream Layer
In a saucepan, whisk together milk, cornflour, and sugar until smooth.
Heat over medium, stirring constantly until thickened.
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and cream. Set aside to cool slightly.

Step 2 – Make the Chocolate Layer (optional)
In another pan, combine milk, cocoa powder, cornflour, sugar, and chopped chocolate.
Heat gently, stirring until the chocolate melts and the mixture thickens.
Allow to cool slightly.

Step 3 – Get the Biscuits Ready
Mix milk with coffee (if using).
Quickly dip each biscuit—don’t soak—and layer them at the bottom of a glass dish.

Step 4 – Assemble the Pudding

  • Layer 2: Cream mixture
  • Layer 3: (Optional) Chocolate layer
Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with cream or chocolate on top.

Sprinkle grated chocolate, cocoa, biscuit crumbs, or nuts.
You can also drizzle chocolate syrup or top with whipped cream.

Step 6 – Chill and Set
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours, or overnight for best results.
