Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 4 slices thick-cut bread (sourdough or Texas toast works best)
- 4 slices cooked bacon
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
- Prepare bread: Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. On the unbuttered side, spread ranch dressing evenly.
- Assemble sandwiches: Layer cheddar, mozzarella, and Monterey Jack cheese onto two slices of bread. Add bacon slices on top. Close each sandwich with another slice of bread, butter side out.
- Grill: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on one side (about 3–4 minutes). Flip carefully and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is fully melted.
- Serve: Slice in half and serve warm with extra ranch for dipping.
Tips & Variations
- Add sliced tomato or caramelized onions for extra flavor.
