Introduction:
Oven-fried potatoes and onions are a golden, crispy side dish packed with rustic flavor and zero fuss. Roasted until tender and caramelized, they’re the perfect match for breakfast, lunch, or dinner—comforting, easy, and always a hit.


Ingredients:

  • 4 medium potatoes, diced (Yukon Gold or Russet work best)
  • 1 large onion, sliced or chopped
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley, rosemary, or grated cheese for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Heat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Prep Ingredients:
    In a large bowl, toss the diced potatoes and onions with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread & Roast:
    Spread the mixture in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the potatoes are golden and crispy and the onions are caramelized.
  4. Garnish & Serve:
    Sprinkle with fresh herbs or cheese if desired. Serve hot as a side dish with eggs, meats, or on their own.
