7 Layer Taco Dip

Introduction:
7-Layer Taco Dip is the ultimate party dish—cool, creamy, and loaded with Tex-Mex flavors. With layers of refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and fresh toppings, it’s perfect with tortilla chips and always a hit at gatherings.


Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
  • 1 cup guacamole (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (optional, for creamier texture)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (or pico de gallo)
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Optional: chopped cilantro, jalapeños, or diced red onions
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Layer 1 – Beans:
    Spread refried beans evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish or a wide bowl.
  2. Layer 2 – Guacamole:
    Gently spread guacamole over the beans.
  3. Layer 3 – Creamy Taco Layer:
    Mix sour cream, mayo (if using), and taco seasoning. Spread over the guacamole.
  4. Layer 4 – Cheese:
    Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Layer 5 – Tomatoes:
    Add a layer of diced tomatoes or fresh pico.
  6. Layer 6 – Olives:
    Sprinkle on sliced black olives.
  7. Layer 7 – Green Onions:
    Finish with a layer of chopped green onions.
  8. Chill & Serve:
    Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve cold with tortilla chips.
